Varjo Aero has won the Auggie Award 2022 for Best Headworn Device by the Augmented World Expo event in Santa Clara, California. The annual Auggie Awards have been recognizing the AR and VR industry with its awards since 2010. Now in its 13th year, the Auggies continue to showcase the best of the best in augmented, virtual and mixed reality.

Varjo Aero won its category “Best Headworn Device” amongst multiple prestigious finalists consisting of manufacturers of smart glasses, head-mounted displays (HMD), goggles, heads-up displays (HUD), connected eyewear, and helmets.

Another highlight amongst the Auggie Award winners was Varjo’s recently announced partner, OpenBCI. The pioneering neurotechnology company took home the award for Best Interaction Product for their recently announced Galea platform, which is also integrated with Varjo Aero.
