BAA-Training-Vietnam-launches-a-new-ATPL-and-Type-Rating-training-program

BAA Training Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City, has launched an EASA ATPL Integrated with Type Rating program to be held in both Europe and Vietnam.

“BAA Training Vietnam is now upscaling its services portfolio by adding initial pilot training," said Vytautas Jankauskas, Managing Director of BAA Training Vietnam. "The insights from our close partners and aviation market leaders – VietJetAir, Vietravel, Pacific Airlines, Bamboo Airways and others – strongly indicate a need for fully airline-ready type-rated First Officers.”

The training course provides students with a pathway from zero aviation experience to becoming airline-ready type-rated FOs while being led by an international team of experienced instructors. The program’s primary benefit lies in how it is structured, with ab initio part based in Europe – Lithuania or Spain – and type rating in Vietnam or Europe, depending on the aircraft type. It enables future pilots to acquire professional aviation competencies while gaining multicultural experience, familiarizing themselves with European training traditions and raising their competitiveness in the Asian market.

BAA Training’s ATPL Integrated is enhanced with competency-based Area 100 KSA subject, type-rating training upgraded with virtual reality-based training and a mix of Airbus and Boeing family full-flight simulators and FTD Level 2 devices.
