PlaneEnglish will demonstrate new training capabilities for ground crews and ramp tower controllers recently released as part of its Aviation Radio Simulator. The training scenarios are custom-developed for operators that want to provide radio communication training and experience to their crews for initial training and continuation training. Trainees can experience increasingly complex scenarios when operating in movement and non-movement areas or controlling inbound and outbound aircraft. The ability to track user progress and achievements on the Dashboard Learning Management System (LMS) gives operators the means to verify compliance with training requirements, in addition to monitoring training effectiveness. The end-goal is reduction in runway incursions and increased efficiency in ground operations.
PlaneEnglish develops software tools that combine a simulator, instantaneous feedback, and a training curriculum to reduce training time and increase training effectiveness in all aspects of communications training. The PlaneEnglish Aviation Radio Simulator is available for iOS and Android on the AppStore and Google Play Store, as well as on the web. ARSim is available with a seven-day free trial as well as customization options and licenses for flight schools and other institutions interested in using the app in group settings.
PlaneEnglish will be exhibiting at this year’s 20th European Airline Training Symposium (EATS), taking place from 8-9 November 2022 in Estrel Hotel, Berlin, Germany. To learn more about ground crew and ramp tower controller training capabilities, visit PlaneEnglish at booth #128.
