Air Astana has ordered a V9000 Commander Cabin Fire + Smoke Trainer with Flame Aviation from The Netherlands. The next-generation fire trainer will be installed in Air Astana’s new training center opening beginning of 2023.

This fire trainer offers Air Astana all possible scenarios for training inflight fires. The pre-programmed scenarios and the feedback on trainees’ performance are especially what Air Astana likes about the product. Naturally, the fire trainer offers extensive possibilities for training various lithium-ion battery fire scenarios.

If you would like to learn more about Flame Aviation, stop by booth #119 during the European Airline Training Symposium 2022 (EATS) taking place in Berlin, Germany, from 8-9 November.
