SG Aéro, based at the Troyes LFQB airfield, France, has bought an ALSIM AL250 simulator.

The AL250 simulator addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit for each flight model. More than 80 of these devices have already been installed and are in successful operation worldwide.

Stéphane Guelin, President, and Education Manager of SG Aero, declared: "SG Aero wants to be a human scale school to remain the closest possible to the needs of its trainees.

The choice of an ALSIM simulator was dictated by the quality of conception and design, and the assistance the operator gets throughout the life of the simulator. I have been an ALSIM simulator user for many years and I did my IR/ME training on one of the very first AL100s which only had a TV screen as a display system. ALSIM is a great company that listens to its customers. The AL250 is the best compromise for starting an ATO because it is a versatile and compact simulator."
