In a recent dialogue with EASA's John Franklin, Captain Andy O'Shea, CEO of The Airline Pilot Club, sheds light on the game-changing Environmental Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC). This innovative approach leverages the existing competency framework, particularly focusing on Knowledge and Problem-Solving and Decision-making (KNO, PSD), seamlessly complementing Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA).

Continuous Descent Approaches (CDA) and the implementation of single-engine taxi-in are two such practices that collectively saved nearly 150,000 tons of fuel by Ryanair.
