Second HAVELSAN-constructed Boeing B737-8 MAX Full Flight Simulator (FFS), operated by Turkish Airlines, has achieved European EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) Level D certification.

HAVELSAN previously signed a contract with Turkish Airlines for the procurement of a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs and Boeing 737 Max FFS and FTDs. In May 2023, the first HAVELSAN-manufacturered B737 MAX FFS located in the Turkish Airlines Flight Training Center achieved EASA Level D Certification. Now, for the second time, the company has achieved this milestone by attaining EASA Level D Certification for another B737-8 MAX Simulator.

HAVELSAN is planning EASA certification of its Airbus A320 CEO/NEO manufactured full flight simulators to showcase to the global airline and pilot training industry that it can provide with Turkish-manufactured narrow body aircraft flight simulators.
