HAVELSAN has opened together with Turkish Airlines a Turkish Airline Training Center within its premises.

HAVELSAN previously signed a contract with Turkish Airlines for the procurement of a total of 11 A320 CEO NEOs and Boeing 737 Max full flight simulators (FFS) and Flight Training Devices (FTD)s. Following the EASA certification of two Boeing B737MAX full flight simulators, HAVELSAN and Turkish Airlines have taken a significant stride forward in their partnership by opening a new Turkish Airline Training Center within HAVELSAN’s premises. The facility is equipped with training technologies and staffed by industry experts.

"The opening of this Airline Training Center and the second achievement of our 737-8MAX Simulator Certification symbolizes our shared dedication to fostering excellence in aviation education,” stated Mehmet Akif Nacar, Ph.D CEO of HAVELSAN. “By combining our strengths, we aim to provide top-notch training to the next generation of pilots"

HAVELSAN is planning EASA certification of its Airbus A320 CEO/NEO manufactured full flight simulators to showcase to the global airline and pilot training industry that it can provide it with Turkish manufactured narrow body aircraft flight simulators.

HAVELSAN is exhibiting at the European Airline Training Symposium (EATS) 2023 from 8-9 November. Visitors can see HAVELSAN at booth #100 to learn more.
