Skyborne is marking five years of its flagship Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) programme.
Despite challenges posed to aviation by the pandemic and Brexit, Skyborne has maintained an its track record, with 90% of its UK graduates securing airline placements to date. Since receiving approval from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UKCAA) in 2019, Skyborne’s Integrated ATPL has seen outstanding growth, from its inaugural class, CP001, to its current cohort, CP33.
Lee Woodward, CEO, Skyborne, says: “I feel incredibly proud of what we have achieved in five short years. From the academy’s formation, building bespoke training facilities, acquiring aircraft and simulators and welcoming our first trainees, to where we are today; the journey has been remarkable.”
As Skyborne marks this significant milestone, the academy looks forward to welcoming its next cohort, CP34, on 29th April 2024.
