Sevenair Academy has partnered with Icelandic Aviation Training (IAT) to provide flight training for northern Europe.
With this new partnership, Sevenair Academy becomes IAT’s partner in its ab-initio ATPL program, bringing practical flight training to Ponte de Sor through a bespoke program designed to meet the evolving needs of aspiring pilots from Iceland and the broader Nordic region.
Together with Sevenair Academy, IAT’s cadets will begin their Ground School theoretical training in Iceland, joining then Ponte de Sor base for their flight training portion of the program, before finishing off with 40 hours APS MCC at the CAE Icelandair Full Flight Simulators in Iceland.
“This partnership with Sevenair Academy allows us to offer a unique training experience that combines our strong theoretical foundation in Iceland with practical, hands-on flight training in Portugal,” said Capt. Solvi Thordarson, Head of Training at Icelandic Aviation Training.
