The Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) 2025 has launched its call for papers, inviting industry experts to contribute to four comprehensive conference streams.
The programme will encompass Pilot Training, Cabin Crew Training, Maintenance Training, and ATO (Ab Initio) Training, offering a complete perspective on contemporary aviation training challenges and solutions.
Industry professionals are invited to submit their presentation proposals by Friday 28th February 2025. Each submission should include a detailed 250-300 word abstract outlining the presentation's focus and objectives.
To ensure the highest quality of presentations, applicants must also provide a recorded video showcasing their presentation skills or previous conference experience, alongside a professional biography and photograph.
Submit Your Speaker Application HereThe conference, which will welcome hundreds of airline training leaders from 26-27 August 2025 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, seeks presentations addressing crucial aspects of aviation training and education.
Key focus areas include airline stability and growth, next-generation training methodologies, and technological innovations in training delivery. Additional emphasis will be placed on human factors, environmental sustainability, and regulatory developments affecting the aviation training sector.
APATS maintains its practical focus, welcoming real-world insights from air carriers and training organisations. While academic research projects with international applications will be considered, the conference particularly values presentations offering practical training solutions and documented outcomes.
Each presentation must adhere to the conference's established format of 15-18 minutes, followed by an interactive Q&A session.
Recap What Happened At APATS 2024The symposium specifically seeks contributions addressing emerging technologies such as advanced flight simulation training devices, extended reality applications, and artificial intelligence in training.
Additionally, presentations exploring contemporary challenges in cabin crew training, maintenance technician development, and ab initio training will form essential components of the programme.
Importantly, APATS maintains its commitment to non-commercial content, emphasising that sales presentations will not be accepted. This policy ensures that attendees benefit from genuine industry insights and practical training solutions rather than product promotions.
Interested speakers can submit their proposals through the online submission form, ensuring all required materials are included for consideration by the programme committee.
