Entrol has successfully completed the installation of two H1000 simulators at Korea Aviation High School. This landmark project enhances the institution’s training capabilities, providing aspiring pilots with new tools to excel in their initial aviation training.
The H1000 simulators, classified as Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATD) and based on the Bell 505 helicopter, feature a compact design tailored for operational efficiency and student accessibility. Key specifications include:
Realistic cabin design: Fully equipped dual-control Bell 505 cabins, designed without windows or doors to maximize focus on instrumentation and procedure training.
Advanced visual systems: Cylindrical visuals with a 200ºx40º field of view, powered by X-plane 11.
Extensive database: A high-definition visual database covering key airports, including Incheon (RKSI), Gimpo (RKSS), and Singapore Changi (WSSS), as well as major global hubs like Zurich (LSZH) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG).
Compact instructor station: A reduced-size Instructor Operating Station (IOS) for streamlined operation and monitoring.
The installation of these simulators followed a successful bid for a public tender in South Korea, underscoring Entrol’s reputation as a trusted provider of high-quality simulation solutions. Now operational, the simulators are integral to Korea Aviation High School’s curriculum, focusing on preparing students for the challenges of a professional aviation career.
