Leading Edge Aviation (LEAL) has been shortlisted for eight categories, with 10 total finalists, in the Pilot Careers Live Professional Flight Training Awards 2025. The recognition highlights the academy’s training quality, instructor dedication, student achievement, and commitment to sustainable aviation.

Nominations include Best Integrated Student, Best Modular Student, Best Ground School Instructor, Best Flight Instructor, Most Supportive Student, Significant Contribution to Professional Flight Training, and Achievement Through Adversity.

The Pilot Careers Live Professional Flight Training Awards celebrate those who have made significant contributions to the aviation sector.

LEAL’s shortlisting in the Sustainable Initiative category highlights its commitment to environmentally responsible aviation training. This recognition acknowledges the academy’s partnership with Elixir Aircraft and Green Aerolease, marking a transformative shift towards low-carbon pilot training.

As part of its sustainability initiative, Leading Edge Aviation has acquired five Elixir aircraft, with additional orders in place to ensure a long-term investment in greener aviation. Facilitated by Green Aerolease, this initiative allows LEAL to lease the aircraft, providing financial flexibility while accelerating the adoption of green technologies.

The winners of the Pilot Careers Live Professional Flight Training Awards will be announced at a prestigious ceremony on 21 March 2025 at the Sofitel Hotel in London. The event promises to bring together the best in aviation training and celebrate those who have made a lasting impact on the industry.
