The Saskatchewan government is investing over $1 million in the Dziret'ái Pilot Training Program to train Indigenous pilots. according to Sask Today.

This two-year program, starting in January, will select ten applicants, offering them training and eventual employment with Rise Air, a First Nations-owned airline. The initiative aims to increase Indigenous employment in aviation while providing cultural and logistical support for students.
