L3Harris has secured a contract with Air Astana JSC to supply its Flight Training Centre with an Airbus A320neo Full Flight Simulator (FFS).
The training device will enter service in the second half of 2025. Located at the Air Astana Flight Training Centre at Astana International Airport, it will provide Central Asia’s largest airline, and its subsidiary FlyArystan, with increased capacity to fulfil its growing Airbus pilot training requirements. The A320neo FFS will hold both EASA and local Level D regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
The latest device will be the carrier’s second A320neo FFS from L3Harris. The first was delivered in 2023 and was the first FFS for Air Astana and the first FFS device installed in Kazakhstan.
To support the new FFS, L3Harris will provide 24/7 aftermarket support for spares, repairs, and future updates, which will ensure the device performs optimally throughout its operational lifespan.
