We will welcome Anne Sølvsteen Knudsen, Managing Director of NaviMinds, as a featured speaker at EATS 2024. With over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, Anne brings a wealth of expertise in crew training, human factors, and innovative instructional methodologies.

At EATS 2024, Anne will deliver a thought-provoking presentation titled "Training the Trainer – New Methodologies," exploring cutting-edge strategies that are shaping the future of crew training. The session will be co-presented with Sarah Hudson Knudsen, Brand Manager at NaviMinds, adding an extra layer of depth to this family-led innovation powerhouse.

Anne began her distinguished career in aviation in 1987 as a cabin attendant, later transitioning to the cockpit as a pilot and simulator instructor on the Boeing 737. After an impressive career, including time as an airline captain, she retired from active flying in 2016 to focus on her passion for training. Today, she is the CEO of NaviMinds, a company renowned for its forward-thinking approaches to Crew Resource Management (CRM) and human factors training. NaviMinds has won multiple accolades, including Innovative Training and Best CRM Training awards, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the European aviation training market.

Anne's presentation will focus on the increasing need for student-centered and technology-integrated training methods to meet the diverse learning styles and expectations of today's crew members. She will cover a range of innovative approaches, including:

  • Blended learning
  • Gamification
  • Personalized learning
  • Inquiry-based learning
  • Collaborative and experiential learning
  • Hybrid learning

Attendees can expect a highly engaging session that will not only explore these methodologies but also offer practical demonstrations. Anne's passion for education, combined with her extensive aviation background, ensures this session will provide invaluable insights for anyone involved in training or development.

Join Anne on Day 2, Thursday 7th November, of the Cabin Crew Training Conference at EATS 2024.
