Astrom Training Solutions has announced the launch of Astrom QAR Flightvue, a mobile platform application designed to replay QAR data. Built for aviation professionals, this software enables the reconstruction of key stages in flight operations through a QAR-decoding-based interface, compatible with iPad Air2 and newer, along with a range of Apple and Android devices.
Astrom QAR Flightvue provides a complete view of each flight phase, from taxiing to landing, within a 3D GIS environment. This route playback feature offers users an animated, spatially and temporally accurate visualization, helping professionals understand relationships across different stages of flight.
In addition, the software replicates essential aircraft attitudes and instrument data, drawing on parameters such as altitude, pitch, yaw, roll angles, and landing gear status. Users can adjust playback speeds, from slow-motion to fast-forward, enhancing training flexibility and allowing for detailed or expedited review of flight sequences.
To enhance the training experience, Flightvue also includes multi-angle and fixed viewing options. Professionals can explore cockpit and external perspectives, with gesture controls to zoom, pan, and rotate, offering an in-depth inspection of operational details. A real-time cockpit instrument display provides a comprehensive overview, continuously updating with data from primary flight displays, navigation, and various control elements.
