Netherlands-based provider of Fixed Base Simulators (FBS) is eyeing growing prospects for upgrades to the company’s installed fleet of simulators. Speaking at Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS) 2024 convening in Singapore, Capt. Philip Adrian, Multi Pilot Simulations (MPS) CEO, said the company is in discussions with its customers for upgrades to their installed FBSs and has been working on including additional features. The demand is from airlines looking to make greater investments in better training equipment and they are also increasingly looking towards in-house training to save on training costs.

Adrian said the company’s presence at APATS was to showcase its products to potential customers in the region. In addition to its existing customers in China and the Philippines, MPS has also entered the Indian market, having already delivered a Boeing 737-NG FBS to a customer, with an Airbus A320 FBS also due for delivery later next year. Earlier this month, MPS announced it had installed a Boeing 737-800 NG EASA Level 2 FTD at Jet2, adding to a B737-800 NG MPS simulator as well as an A320 NEO FTD-2.
