Fabiola Pfauser (VP Product Management, Munich Airport Academy) and Dr. Tunc Cavcav (Head of Academy, İGA Istanbul Airport) signing the training cooperation agreement between Munich Airport Academy and İGA Academy on 24 September in Atlanta, USA

Munich AirportAcademy and Istanbul Airport's IGA Academy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop innovative training programs and take education in the aviation industry to a new level.

This collaboration will enable both academies to meet the changing needs of the aviation industry and provide students with a more comprehensive learning experience.

Jointly developed programs will be tailored to the current and future needs of the industry. Regular meetings between the academies will promote ongoing dialog and the exchange of best practices in training to continuously improve the quality of training.

A key element of the agreement is the exchange of training courses and instructors. This will allow students to benefit from a wider range of courses and a more diverse teaching approach, enriching their education and preparing them optimally for the challenges of the job market.

In addition, the IGA Academy and Munich AirportAcademy will undertake joint marketing and promotional activities to position both institutions as global leaders in the industry. This strategic alignment will help to increase the visibility and reach of both academies.

"With Munich and Istanbul airports both recognised as leaders in the global aviation landscape, this partnership brings together our longstanding expertise to redefine aviation training," said states Alexander Hoemer, Head of Munich AirportAcademy.

"By uniting our strengths, we aim to create innovative learning programs that not only meet the industry's evolving needs but also set new benchmarks in education. Together, we will empower the next generation of aviation professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to uphold the highest standards in this dynamic field."

Dr. Tunç Cavcav, Head of İGA Academy, added: “Together, we will focus on joint training initiatives, staff exchanges, and shared knowledge to enhance the professional development of our personnel and industry stakeholders. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to building bridges, encouraging continuous learning, and leading the way in global aviation education.”
