Global Aviation has completed renovations at its new private airport, Ikaros, which is scheduled to commence operations in early 2025. Located just north of Athens, the airport, known as Global Aviation Ikaros Airport (GAIA), features an upgraded 840-meter runway and advanced facilities designed to support flight training.

This investment aims to enhance the training experience for students and positions Global Aviation as one of the few pilot schools in Europe with a fully privately-owned and operated airport dedicated exclusively to flight training.

In addition to the new airport, Global Aviation has also invested in four new aircraft this year, further expanding its fleet to meet training needs.

Global Aviation, the oldest Approved Training Organization (ATO) in Greece, operates a fleet of 20 single and multi-engine training aircraft, along with three flight simulators. To date, Global Aviation has trained more than 2,500 students from various countries.

Global Aviation is exhibiting at EATS, taking place now through 7 November. Stop by booth 612 to learn more.
