MPS has successfully completed the installation of two A320 FAA level 5 Flight Training Devices for Frontier Airlines. The simulators are located at the Airbus training facility in Aurora, Colorado, where Frontier conducts its pilot training. These MPS simulators are some of the first colored cabins to roll off the production line and feature Frontier’s signature green. A purchase option for three additional devices remains in place.

Frontier Airlines is a growing ultra-low cost carrier that operates an all-Airbus fleet. The company is based in Denver, Colorado, and serves approximately 100 destinations, primarily in the U.S., as well as the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America. The rapidly growing carrier has nearly 200 additional aircraft on order. These new MPS devices, which feature the latest technology and integration of current regulatory requirements, will help support Frontier’s present and future training needs.

“Frontier strives to provide our pilots with the highest quality training aids and opportunities to practice the skills required to maintain our high safety standards,” said Jake O’Connell, Director of Flight Operations Training for Frontier Airlines. “The installation of these new MPS simulators will play a significant role in helping us fulfill that mission.”
