EATS 2024 is just around the corner, and this year's event is set to introduce more new speakers and topics than ever before.

With 16 out of 24 speakers being first timers, the event will bring a wealth of fresh perspectives and critical insights into the future of aviation training.

Alongside these new voices, several returning experts will continue to share their expertise on the industry’s most pressing challenges.

New to the stage this year are notable figures like Dr. Ana Vieira de Mata, Frank Steiner, Professor Susan Durbin, Antonios Grammaticas, Steve Dennis, and René Veerman.

These experts will be diving into crucial subjects such as artificial intelligence (AI) in aviation training, instructor development, and the latest training methods designed to improve safety and operational performance.

The emphasis on AI is particularly relevant in today’s rapidly evolving aviation landscape, making this a key focus for EATS 2024.

In addition to the new speakers, returning experts like Captain Jean-Michel Bigarré, Captain Stéphan Labrucherie, and Carey Edwards will build on their previous presentations.

Captain Bigarré, who has spoken at EATS since 2022, continues to lead discussions on aviation training strategies as President of AMFTA.

Captain Labrucherie from Airbus will again share his insights on flight training and competency-based training and assessment (CBTA). These returning speakers help to maintain continuity and depth in the conference discussions while also bringing updates and new data to the table.

This year’s speaker lineup reflects a deliberate effort to introduce more varied voices and address new challenges facing the aviation industry.

The addition of experts in areas like AI and mental health, coupled with ongoing discussions about competency-based and evidence-based training, ensures that EATS 2024 will provide a comprehensive view of current trends.

With aviation training evolving to meet post-pandemic challenges, the topics covered at this year’s event are more important than ever.

If you’re involved in the aviation training industry, EATS 2024 will offer actionable insights and expert knowledge that you can apply directly to your work.
