one-G simulation has launched its latest flight training device, the one-G Tarbes 8. Designed for TBM 850 owners and operators, the Tarbes 8 offers a high-fidelity simulation experience that helps pilots effectively manage the risks of flying a high-performance, single-engine turboprop.

Executive Flight Training has expanded its one-G fleet by becoming the launch customer for the Tarbes 8.

“The Tarbes 8 was the perfect addition to EFT's simulator curriculum,” said Douglas Carmody, CEO of Executive Flight Training. “Clients that trained in our one-G Tarbes 7 were excited to fly the Tarbes 8. This advanced training device provides our instructors with the ability to simulate realistic, complex emergencies that you cannot execute in the aircraft. This fosters operational excellence in the cockpit and a safer, more efficiently trained pilot.”

The Tarbes 8 offers features such as a model-specific flight deck with realistic full-scale TBM 850 flight controls and ergonomics, an advanced Instructor Operator Station (IOS), and comprehensive scenario-based training capabilities, all designed to provide a transition from simulation to real-world flying.

The Tarbes 8 is now available for integration into flight schools and training programs.
