A new training center for Airbus A220 pilots is set to be built in Sofia's Slatina area, in Bulgaria, according to Kosova Press.
The property, currently surplus to Sofia Airport's needs, will be sold to Velgraf Asset Management AD for this purpose. This facility will house simulators to ensure Bulgaria Air pilots meet European aviation security standards, following the airline's fleet upgrade to Airbus A220 aircraft.
