Flame Aviation has been selected by Riyadh Air to manufacture and deliver a next-generation fire trainer for the airline’s new training center in Riyadh.

The V9000 Commander XR Fire Trainer is a crucial tool for preparing Riyadh Air's cabin crew to effectively respond to inflight fires, ensuring high level of safety for both passengers and crew. Designed with advanced simulation technology, the fire trainer will provide realistic training scenarios that enhance fire response skills and emergency preparedness.

"This next-generation Fire Trainer will empower cabin crew with the critical skills necessary to handle inflight fire emergencies effectively," said Robin Pijnaker, Managing Director at Flame Aviation.

Riyadh Air’s new fire trainer is equipped with Flame Aviation's new user interface, Flame Envision. This system allows instructors to pre-program up to eight different fire training scenarios with specific conditions in advance. This feature standardizes the training process and enables instructors to easily present different scenarios to trainees, ensuring consistent and efficient training sessions.

Flame Aviation is exhibiting at this year's Asia Pacific Airline Training Symposium (APATS), taking place now through 11 September, at booth J-808. Stop by to learn more.
