infoWERK has expanded its presence in the African market through a long-term partnership with Westair Wings, an aircraft maintenance service provider and airline in Namibia. Additionally, infoWERK has released a major update to its First Aid Training program, aligning it with the latest European Resuscitation Council guidelines.

Westair Wings, based in Windhoek, Namibia, has been collaborating with infoWERK for several years to deliver specialized ERJ 145 maintenance training. This training, conducted via the infoWERK Learning Management System (LMS), ensures that Westair technicians continuously develop their expertise in all relevant knowledge areas for the ERJ 145 aircraft type.

In conjunction with this expansion, infoWERK has updated its First Aid Training program, now reflecting the latest guidelines from the European Resuscitation Council. These updates are based on the 2021 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Science with Treatment Recommendations. The newly revised course includes critical topics such as the recovery position, optimal positioning for shock, recognition of stroke, and the management of life-threatening emergencies like severe bleeding and chest wounds.

The updated First Aid Training is designed for flight crew, including pilots and cabin crew, as well as maintenance personnel, and is available for both initial and recurrent training.
