Vietjet and F AIR, a flight training center in the Czech Republic, have signed a partnership agreement to train pilots, in a ceremony witnessed by Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Czech counterpart, Prime Minister Petr Fiala.

Under the agreement, F AIR will provide flight training for pilot trainees at Vietjet Aviation Academy’s (VJAA) Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) program in Czech Republic. The program adheres to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards, aiming to develop highly skilled pilots for Vietnam's aviation sector and the broader region.

Vietjet is expanding its modern fleet with aircraft from manufacturers, while also extending its flight network across the Asia-Pacific region and targeting markets in Europe and the Americas.

Vietnam and the Czech Republic share a long history of cooperation across various sectors, including education and training, particularly in aviation personnel development. Vietjet’s partnership with F AIR further strengthens this relationship while expanding the airline's European collaborations for pilot training.

As an IATA training partner in Vietnam, VJAA has conducted numerous pilot recruitment drives to help aspiring pilots fulfill their dreams of conquering the sky, aligning with the industry’s long-term growth outlook. VJAA trains and supplies over 200 pilots annually, including initial training and type-rating programs.
