Adacel is congratulating long-time customers, Tulsa Community College (TCC) and the University of Oklahoma (OU), on becoming the first two schools signed to the Federal
Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Enhanced Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) Program. Earlier this week, signing ceremonies were held at each of the school’s campus to commemorate the achievement.
The Enhanced AT-CTI Program was established by the FAA to alleviate the shortfall of air traffic controllers in the United States. This initiative is intended to build upon the existing AT-CTI program, leveraging new strategies and resources to train and prepare the next generation of air traffic controllers. Graduates that receive an official endorsement from an Enhanced AT-CTI school, such as TCC or OU, will go straight to an FAA facility for training.
“It’s been an honor to support Tulsa Community College and the University of Oklahoma for 15 and 8 years respectively, witnessing their deep commitment to providing top-tier training to their students pursuing careers in the critical field of air traffic control,” shares Daniel Verret, Adacel’s Chief Executive Officer. “We’re thrilled to see them break ground as the first participants in the FAA’s Enhanced AT-CTI Program. Congratulations to both institutions for this well-deserved recognition!”
