Vallair and the College de Paris International have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate across a broad spectrum of aeronautical skills training, certification and development programmes which will be delivered by Aircraft Academy, a Vallair Group company.

Grégoire Lebigot, President of Vallair Group, comments: “The Vallair Group is in a unique position because we provide access to a wealth of experience and expertise across many aeronautical disciplines under one roof. As a business we have always been focused on training across all of our capabilities and our senior team is committed to sharing knowledge with tomorrow’s young engineers. The world needs aircraft technicians and we as an aeronautical company believe it is our responsibility to divert resources and energy to ensure that the pool of well-trained and enthusiastic people is fresh and mobile.

“Our facilities in Châteauroux and Montpellier combine aircraft maintenance hangars for narrow and widebody aircraft simultaneously, and this is aligned to our dedicated aerostructure and engines shops, disassembly programmes, and aircraft mechanic training schemes via Aircraft Academy. We are perfectly placed to partner with College de Paris, which is the second largest private education provider in France. Our aim is to broaden their association with aviation businesses in France, whilst promoting our capabilities to their extensive network.”

According to Guillaume Finck, Director General – College de Paris International, the College de Paris network of higher education institutions and professional training organisations will be enhanced with this aeronautical association with Vallair Group. “Our focus for our 25,000 candidates in France and abroad has always been to provide them with exciting employment opportunities on a worldwide level. This programme helps us to target international candidates with technical diplomas who want to become aircraft mechanics or avionics technicians, and we are keen to work with Aircraft Academy. We are also very excited that Vallair offers SOJT (Structured On Job Training) at their MRO facilities in Châteauroux and Montpellier – this is a huge benefit to trainee mechanics and a unique advantage of partnering with Vallair.”

Armel Jezequel, CEO of Aircraft Academy explains the type of training that the students can access from Q4 2024. “Aircraft Academy provides dedicated theoretical and practical EASA Part 147 training for individuals, MROs, airlines, or military organisations worldwide.”
