Women in Aviation Training (WiAT) has taken a significant step towards fostering a more inclusive aviation training sector by producing a new Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) survey.
Conducted in early 2024, the survey garnered 147 responses from WiAT Forum members and the broader Halldale community, providing a comprehensive review of the industry's DEI status.
This survey explored the varied experiences and perceptions within aviation training, with a keen focus on gender and regional disparities. The results offer an unvarnished look at the current state of DEI in the field, highlighting both progress and areas requiring urgent attention.
The insights will be used in shaping future DEI initiatives within Halldale, our events, and the wider aviation training industry.
