Hawaiian Airlines recently hosted an event for young women aged 12-17 as part of Girls in Aviation Day, providing them with a glimpse into careers in aviation, reports Aerotime.

The airline partnered with the Women in Aviation International Aloha Chapter to facilitate this initiative, which has been celebrated annually since 2014. At the training center, forty girls engaged in activities simulating various aviation roles, including flight attendants, pilots, and air traffic controllers. Hawaiian Airlines expressed gratitude to the volunteers who helped inspire the next generation of female leaders in the industry. The airline has a history of supporting this initiative, having previously celebrated its first all-female, all-part Hawaiian pilot crew in November 2023.
