VirTra Systems has received a $1.2 million award from the US Secret Service, a bureau of the US Department of Homeland Security, for use-of-force training systems. The systems use multiple screens, realistic video training content and an electric-impulse return-fire system to simulate the stress of real-world situations, ultimately to help prepare agents in judgmental use-of-force encounters. VirTra’s systems help prepare officers for hostile situations with skills honed and refined in realistic scenarios, before lives are on the line.
