Cubic Corporation’s Global Defense (CGD) business division received $16 million worth of orders from a U.S. Navy contract for immersive game-based courseware to support the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship (LCS).

Cubic’s development efforts of the Immersive Virtual Shipboard Environment (IVSE) learning product for LCS are in alignment with the Navy’s Ready Relevant Learning Initiative. Cubic’s IVSE immerses trainees in a photo-realistic 3D virtual environment to train on various tasks in settings that are virtually identical to real-life scenarios. These new orders will add functionality and virtual content to the current LCS virtual training environment.
