MS&T, the International Defence Training Journal, announces the release of the 19th Annual Industry Simulation & Training Awards program recognizing the contribution of companies in the defense community to warfighter training and readiness. The military simulation and training industry continues to be dedicated and innovative and its work deserves to be showcased and rewarded. Building on the success of our 2019 MS&T Awards with over 6,000 subscriber votes received in the selection of the winners, we are excited to be recognising again in 2020 the hard work and creativity of the S&T industry.
As the leading defense training journal for over 36 years, MS&T is proud to acknowlege companies and people that provide exceptional value and service to military clients. Winners and finalists will be presented with awards during the I/ITSEC conference in Orlando in December and recognized in MS&T's Awards Issue (August 2020) and featured on the awards website at https://militarysimulation.training/awards2020/.
There are six award categories in 2020: Outstanding Innovative Product, Outstanding VR/AR/MR Application, Outstanding Service and Support, Outstanding Training System Integration Project, Small Business of the Year, and the Pioneer Award, which recognizes an individual for consistent, long term contributions to the art, science and community of simulation and training. The Pioneer award is mirrored in the Civil Aviation Training Pioneer Awards given by sister publication CAT Magazine.
A panel of MS&T editors will select a maximum of three finalists in each of the award categories. MS&T print, digital and eNewsletter subscribers will be asked to select the winner by voting for the best finalist in each category. The voting period and directions will be announced by email. All readers will be limited to a single vote.
The Halldale Group and Military Simulation & Training Magazine welcomes all defense industry companies to complete and submit a nomination. Entries will be accepted from March 23 through May 22, 2020.
