The VR/AR Association (VRARA) Orlando Chapter released a webcast on the impact of COVID-19 on U.S. military simulation and training needs. The webinar discussed what has been learned a month into the coronavirus pandemic as training is delivered remotely to the warfighter through various technologies and how this has shaped leaders’ perspectives.

John Cunningham, the VRARA Orlando Chapter President as well as the Chief Revenue Officer of DiSTI, moderated the virtual event. Thought leaders attending the event included Gary Frost, Deputy Director, Synthetic Training Environment, US Army Futures Command; Col. Robert Epstein, Commander, Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation; Capt. Timothy Hill, Commander Naval Air Warfare, Training Systems Division; Dr. Neil Finkelstein, Chief Operating Officer, National Centers for Simulation; Dr. Alethea Duhon, Technical Director, Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation; and John Meyers, Executive Director, Naval Air Warfare, Training Systems Division.
