The U.S. Army Contracting Command has selected Raytheon Intelligence and Space, a Raytheon Technologies business, to train U.S. troops deployed to the Middle East under a $113-million contract.

Under the U.S. Army Central’s Training Support Services contract, Raytheon will provide a variety of support for live and virtual training including: individual and unit warfighting skills instruction; operating virtual and gaming training devices; maintenance of live, virtual and gaming training systems; instrumentation and operations of training areas and live fire ranges; and target and device fabrication.

Raytheon will support the Army’s training mission from the Udairi Training Range, Camp Buehring and Camp Arifjan in Kuwait with flexibility to support training throughout the Middle East.

Raytheon Intelligence and Space also supports large-scale training at U.S. Army combat training centers in California (National Training Center) and Germany (Joint Multinational Readiness Center).
