Following directives to avoid mass gatherings for public safety amid the continuing Covid-19 pandemic, the National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA) has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).
"The safety and wellness of attendees, volunteers and participants are our utmost priority," said RADM James Robb, NTSA's president. "We look forward to this important annual gathering and the people and businesses that support training and simulation, surrounded by the warm welcome of Orlando. We cancel this year's I/ITSEC with a heavy heart and are working on ways the technical content prepared for the conference can be provided to the training community."
I/ITSEC was scheduled for 30 November - 4 December at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The Army was this year's military lead Service.
NTSA and its parent, the National Defense Industrial Association, thank everyone for their interest in this year’s event. “We wish you good health and safety during this uncertain time so we may see you at the 2021 I/ITSEC,” Robb said.
