Australia-to-Resume-International-Military-Training-in-2021

Australia’s Department of Defence has announced that it will resume international training with foreign military partners in 2021.

Limited international training with foreign military partners will commence in January, when the first officials arrive at the Australian Defence College.

Darwin will be the point of entry in Australia for all foreign military officials, and any dependants, where they will have to complete 14 days of Mandatory Supervised Quarantine, before continuing on to their ultimate posting locations in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Victoria, a Defence release stated.

Australia is keen to resume training programmes with its foreign military partners, as it considers training of foreign military officials as an important opportunity for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to reinforce Australia’s reputation as the security partner of choice, across the region.
