Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) has been appraised at level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI ML3) for Development v2.0.
CMMI is a capability improvement framework that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. ECS has developed an integrated set of best practices and processes which are constantly measured and improved upon to reach defined goals of decreased time-to-market, increased quality, reduced cost, and improved product lifecycle management.
Waymon Armstrong, ECS CEO & President said: “Obtaining CMMI ML3 demonstrates our ongoing commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and dedication to our customers and partners. We are proud of our Director of Quality Assurance, Teresa Sewell, who led this effort, as well as our entire team for being proactive in order for us to achieve this distinction.”
In December, ECS announced plans to expand capabilities of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Virtual Medical Center.
