Simthetiq has completed the delivery of a large scale synthetic training environment to a European defense Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).

Developed for use in both legacy and Virtual Reality-based simulation devices, the tactical training environment is currently deployed in armored vehicle simulators using Bohemia Interactive Simulations’ Virtual Battlespace (VBS3), paired to the Unity game engine to handle high performance VR rendering.

Simthetiq CEO, Vincent Cloutier, explained: “A perfectly correlated synthetic training environment (STE) was required to allow devices running different rendering technology to be interconnected to create a joint training solution. With a single investment, the end user was also able to meet multiple training and simulation objectives, whilst supporting joint training between their diverse user communities.”
