ASTi-provides-Voisus-for-US-Air-Force-SLATE-project

ASTi will be exhibiting at this year’s Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), taking place 29 November - 3 December in Orlando, Florida, at booth #2826. Visitors can stop by to check out new updates to ASTi’s flagship product suites, including Telestra, Voisus, and SERA.

This year, ASTi is presenting a live demonstration of SERA and Voisus Solo on a T-6A virtual reality (VR) flight training device. SERA provides a simulated ATC environment, while Voisus Solo provides instructor-to-student comms for real-time feedback.

ASTi is demonstrating SERA’s synthetic ATC environment at the Air Force booth, #1433 on Wednesday, December 1st, at 2:30 pm EST. Visitors can see how SERA can provide an immersion, cognitive loading, and automated scoring for pilot trainees while reducing or even eliminating the need for human role-players.

ASTi and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) are demonstrating new augmented-reality (AR) capabilities, showing how ASTi’s Earshot and Voisus Solo can integrate with Microsoft HoloLens and HPE processors that soldiers can wear. Visitors can come by booth #2826 during the show to experience these AR wearables in action.

ASTi is also a finalist in the U.S. Air Force Innovation Match Game, an event at I/ITSEC that is set to take place on Tuesday, November 30th at 4:00 pm EST in Room 310A/B. The Match Game seeks to pair successful prototypes with Air Force training gaps. ASTi is pitching a prototype that provides AI-automated, human interactive entities augmenting a close air support virtual training environment.

The company plans to release more developments in early 2022 when ASTi will finally debut its new Voisus Client, which includes an updated GUI and all-new chat functionality. ASTi is also integrating the Flex Client into its Voisus product suite. Visitors of I/ITSEC can view a sneak peek at its booth.
