Residents who graduated from the National Capital Consortium (NCC) Pediatrics Residency Program at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) received a 100 percent passing rate for their certifications from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) for a third year in a row.

The ABP holds an annual certification exam for those seeking to become board-certified pediatrician.

WRNMMC has approximately 30 residents a year who graduate from their NCC pediatrics residency program and they have all passed and earned their ABP certification three years in a row. WRNMMC, along with Madigan Army Medical Center, in Washington state, are two facilities in the United States with pediatric residency programs to have that consistent and perfect passing rate.
