3D perception, Inc. (3DP) has been selected by Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) as a visual display system partner for the United States Navy’s Navigation, Seamanship, and Shiphandling Trainer (NSST) program.
This collaboration is part of a significant indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded to the BGI/ASI Joint Venture, aimed at modernizing the Navy’s existing training infrastructure across nine fleet training centers globally.
Under this partnership, 3DP will contribute its renowned Cetus™ line of maritime visual display systems to enhance the training capabilities of the NSST program.
The Cetus systems provide high-resolution, wide field of view displays optimized for the unique challenges faced by naval vessels, including destroyers, aircraft carriers, and fast attack craft.
“We are thrilled to be selected by ASI to contribute to the NSST program," said Adam McCard, EVP Sales & Strategy, at 3D perception.
"Our Cetus systems are engineered to deliver unparalleled visual fidelity and reliability, ensuring that naval trainees receive the highest quality training experience.
"Following up on the 18 NSST Cetus displays 3DP has delivered under a previous contract, this partnership underscores our commitment to supporting the US Navy with cutting-edge technology.”
