Aechelon Technology, Inc. has received contracts from Rheinmetall AG for an advanced Image Generator System, sensor systems, and Visual Databases used for both internal labs as well as for the KC-390 Millenium program.
Work is being performed at the Rheinmetall AG facilities in Bremen, Germany.
Aechelon Technology will supply multiple compact Nucleus Image Generators, serving a large channel count of both OTW and sensor channels. The system features true multi-spectral compact image generators with NVIDIA Professional Series of GPUs.
The system integrates a full-resolution, worldwide 3D visual and sensor database with extensive domestic and foreign areas of interest. This Global database is already deployed and being used on other commercial programs without the need for down-sampling, de-rating, or modification - thus ensuring complete correlation and commonality with other commercial devices also utilizing Aechelon Technology Image Generators.
