The 30th edition of Exercise Chandrapura (XCP) which is held between Singaporean and Indonesian Commandos has concluded in Singapore.

XCP 2024 featured the participation of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) 1st Commando Battalion and the Indonesian National Defence Forces (TNI) Special Forces Command (KOPASSUS).

The SAF's Chief Commando Officer Colonel (COL) Pang Chee Kong said, since the first Exercise Chandrapura in 1994, it had grown in scale and depth since with the ties between both militaries also having grown from strength to strength.

The exercises ended with the execution of a combined company Urban Operations raid with live-firing.

Troops from both sides trained on commando tactics, techniques, and procedures, in addition to other activities, including a combined free fall and static line jump.
