The 908th Flying Training Wing participated in a robotics competition on 1 February at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, providing a static display of the MH-139A Grey Wolf helicopter. Attendees explored the aircraft, interacted with Airmen, and learned about its role in Air Force operations.
The event brought together bright young minds from local high schools to test their engineering skills and technological capabilities. Amid the excitement of the competition, the Grey Wolf stood as a real-world example of science and technology in action.
908th Airmen were present to answer questions and offer insights into the aircraft’s advanced systems and its role in Air Force operations. Students had the opportunity to explore the helicopter up close, gaining a deeper understanding of how military aviation integrates technology to support national defense. The interactive experience allowed attendees to see firsthand how their own STEM interests could translate into future careers in aerospace and defense.
