Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS) will present its latest portfolio of training solutions at I/ITSEC, taking place from 2-6 December in Orlando, Florida. The company will showcase a broad range of capabilities in aviation, maintenance, logistics, medical training, and soft skills. ECS serves a variety of sectors, including military, first responders, and industry, and will feature live demonstrations of its technology at Booth #1949.
One of the highlights this year is the integration of haptics technology to enhance training for Military Working Dog (MWD) Handlers. ECS will demonstrate a system designed to help handlers identify critical behavioral changes and provide timely intervention, using the HaptX G1 system for an immersive experience. Visitors can engage with the virtual K9 simulation to better understand the training process.
Additionally, ECS will showcase the 2024 release of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care Simulation (TC3Sim). This cognitive skills trainer focuses on trauma medicine, particularly addressing top preventable causes of battlefield fatalities. The latest update features a new mission environment, an improved user interface, and expanded support for mobile devices, enabling training on smartphones.
The latest version of ECS’s New Equipment Training (NET) suite for the CH-47F Block II Cargo Helicopter will also be available for exploration. This updated suite, recently delivered to PEO Aviation, offers a comprehensive training platform that includes interactive courseware, a touchscreen-free flight instructor tool, and virtual reality components.
