The British Army has extended its Command and Staff Training contract with Raytheon UK, part of RTX’s Raytheon business, for an additional two years. This renewal continues a partnership that has supported advanced military training for more than three decades.

The program leverages cutting-edge technologies, including the Advanced Battlespace Computer Simulation System, which enables large-scale, complex exercises such as NATO’s Exercise Cerberus. By integrating live, virtual, and constructive training environments, the program enhances operational realism and provides near real-time feedback to participants.

“Our extended partnership with the British Army allows us to continue developing capabilities that transform how military training is delivered,” said Gillian Dowds, head of Training Transformation Services at Raytheon UK.

The contract extension reflects the British Army's commitment to evolving its training strategies to address the rapidly changing threat environment and to strengthen operational readiness for British forces and NATO allies.
