Immersive Display Solutions (IDSI) will present its latest display technologies at I/ITSEC 2024, taking place from 2-6 December at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Visitors can explore IDSI’s innovative offerings across several booths: IDSI (Booth 1381), Barco (Booth 1735), Bohemia Interactive (Booth 538), BlueRoom Simulations (Booth 1961), and CATI (Booth 2534).

A highlight of IDSI’s display this year is ChromaXR, a mixed reality solution featuring a chroma-key enclosure designed for rapid deployment. ChromaXR’s chroma key background merges real-world objects with virtual environments, providing an immersive training experience. The system is particularly suited for scenarios where users must interact with physical tools like devices, maps, and medical equipment. ChromaXR aims to deliver effective simulations for environments that are hazardous or difficult to access, such as battlefield scenarios or airborne training within C-130 or Blackhawk aircraft.

The ChromaXR enclosure weighs approximately 180 lbs and can be set up within 2-3 hours. It includes a uniform lighting kit, is available with green or blue screen options, and comes in multiple sizes. Demonstrations at I/ITSEC will feature training scenarios like Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) exercises and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).

Attendees interested in learning more about ChromaXR and other display technologies are encouraged to visit IDSI’s booth for live demos and to schedule a tour.
