Aptima Inc has received a $192 million contract enhancement to an ID/IQ contract awarded by the U.S. Air Force. The enhancement now brings the contract to $291 million and extends the period of performance to the end of 2029.

Aptima develops scalable and innovative solutions that enhance warfighter performance across a wide range of missions. From just-in-time training environments to real-world applications in operational and battlefield settings, its technologies provide intelligent insights for precision training and AI-driven support, directly contributing to the effectiveness and well-being of warfighters. The funding for this contract will be used to support advancements to enhance warfighter proficiency and readiness through more effective, targeted learning methodologies.

“This contract enhancement is a testament to the vital role our technologies play in advancing warfighter readiness and mission performance. By integrating artificial intelligence with learning systems, we are delivering solutions that not only scale but also personalize training for the unique needs of our armed forces,” said Mike Garrity, CEO of Aptima, Inc.

The $192 million supplements a 2023 $40 Million enhancement to the original contract award. Initially valued at up to $59 Million, that award has resulted in over $89 Million in task orders received by Aptima. These task orders have been pivotal in facilitating transition of Aptima’s capabilities, including advanced analytics, test and evaluation (T&E) methods and tools, and human performance assessment technologies, enabling precise and scalable training.

For this ongoing work, Aptima continues to acknowledge the support of the Dayton Development Coalition and JobsOhio since Aptima’s establishment in Fairborn.
